Upcoming Media Appearances with Congressman Jack Kingston

Congressman Jack Kingston (R/GA-1) will appear on Fox News' Special Report with Bret Baier tonight to discuss his efforts to increase transparency on the Obama Administration's increasing reliance on specially-appointed czars.  The show will air at 6 p.m. eastern.  For more details, check your local listings or click here.

During the 300 years, only 18 Tsars ruled Russia.  To date, the Obama Administration has appointed as many as 33 but news accounts vary because of the complete lack of transparency.  Despite having a Congress controlled by his own party, President Obama has insisted on bypassing the Congress and its constitutional duty to advise and consent on all major appointments.  Last night, Congressman Kingston offered an amendment which would have withheld funding from these czars until they are confirmed by the Senate.  For a summary and copy of the amendment, click here.
